I’m on vacation this week, and I thought I’d share some essentials I packed to go with me. Here are a few of my current favorites…

2 Every summer needs a soundtrack, and the new Jack White album is part of mine.
3 Sweet (and cheap!) bikini in the cutest polka dot print.
4 My new go-to summer cocktail: Strawberry Rose Spritzer
5 This is my new favorite serum: organic, effective and able to undo sun damage gently.
6 A lip balm with a hint of color and SPF is half of my low-key summer beauty routine.
7 and 8 The best vacation reads are juicy, fun and still well-written. The Innocents and Beautiful Ruins fit the bill perfectly.

I’m loving the new Jack White too. The Lumineers album is in heavy rotation as well. Other vacation must-haves? Hmmm… My favorite flip-flops, a really soft t-shirt, and j. crew chino shorts. That’s my typical summer outfit.
